What is the difference between new, refurbished and used?

New is unused, in original packaging, with full manufacturer warranty. Refurbished has been tested, serviced, and restored to working specification, with cosmetic and functional issues corrected, and carries our warranty. Used is inspected and tested working, sold in its current condition at the lowest price point.

Do you warranty used and refurbished equipment?

Refurbished equipment carries a parts and labor warranty; the term is listed on each product page. Used equipment is sold tested-working. Extended coverage is available on many items — ask before you order.

Can I see test reports before buying?

Yes. Ask and we will send the inspection and electrical safety documentation for the specific unit.

Why do some items show a price and others say Request a Quote?

Configurable systems — imaging rooms, C-arms, anesthesia and CT/MRI — are priced per configuration and per destination, since freight, rigging and installation vary enormously. For those we quote. Everything else is priced on the page.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We handle export crating and documentation. See shipping & returns.

Do you accept purchase orders?

Yes, from hospitals, government agencies and established facilities. Email your PO to sales@akbmed.com.

Can you install the equipment?

Yes, on imaging and OR equipment. We also de-install and remove the system you are replacing. See services.

Do you buy equipment?

Yes — single units through full facility liquidations. See sell or trade your equipment.

Is financing available?

Yes, through third party equipment finance partners. See financing.
