Tax exemption
Hospitals, non-profits, government agencies, schools and resellers may qualify to purchase without sales tax.
How to set it up
- Email your valid exemption or resale certificate to sales@akbmed.com with the account email you will order under.
- We verify and flag your account as exempt.
- Order as normal — tax will not be applied at checkout.
Set this up before you order. Applying an exemption to an order that has already been placed and taxed requires a refund of the tax collected, which takes longer than doing it up front.
Certificates must be current and must match the purchasing entity name. We keep them on file for future orders.
