Overview
The Covidien Kendall SCD 700 Pump 29525B is a sequential compression therapy controller for lower-extremity compression. It helps apply intermittent pneumatic compression to the leg, foot, or both, depending on the compatible garment setup.
This SCD 700 Pump supports DVT and PE prevention workflows for at-risk patients. In addition, it uses Vascular Refill Detection to measure venous refill time and adjust the decompression cycle. As a result, the controller can help customize compression timing for each patient.
The Kendall SCD 700 compression pump works with compatible Kendall SCD leg sleeves and foot cuffs. It delivers sequential, gradient, circumferential compression with leg sleeves and uniform compression with foot cuffs. The system uses set pressures of 45 mmHg for leg sleeves and 130 mmHg for foot cuffs .
