Overview
The GE Aisys Carestation Anesthesia Machine is an advanced anesthesia delivery system for operating room use. It supports inhalation anesthesia, mechanical ventilation, respiratory monitoring, and integrated gas delivery in one anesthesia workstation.
The Aisys Carestation uses SmartVent ventilation technology with volume control ventilation, pressure control ventilation, electronic PEEP, and optional advanced modes such as PSVPro, SIMV, PCV-VG, and VCV cardiac bypass . Its Advanced Breathing System supports low-flow and minimal-flow anesthesia workflows.
The system uses Aladin agent cassette technology for anesthetic agent delivery. It also supports machine checks, leak testing, airway gas monitoring, and integrated case setup features that help streamline anesthesia workflow. REF 1011-9000-000 identifies the Aisys Carestation main unit.
