Overview
The Dräger D-Vapor 3000 Desflurane Anesthesia Vaporizer delivers calibrated desflurane output for compatible anesthesia workstations. Dräger identifies the D-Vapor 3000 as an electronic vaporizer for desflurane , with a dosage range of 2 to 18 vol% . It uses the Dräger Auto Exclusion plug-in system and supports desflurane-specific filling systems.
Unlike the standard Vapor 3000 for isoflurane or sevoflurane, the D-Vapor 3000 uses a heated, calibrated vaporizer design for desflurane. In addition, it includes illuminated control visibility, filling-level indication, a transport “T” position, an acoustic filling-level alarm, and battery backup for short-term operation during mains power failure.
