Overview
The Dräger CO2 Mainstream Sensor 6871500 supports EtCO2 monitoring for compatible Dräger Evita ventilators. When paired with the correct CO2 cuvette, it measures carbon dioxide directly at the airway. As a result, clinicians can monitor exhaled CO2 during mechanical ventilation.
This Dräger CO2 Mainstream Sensor uses infrared CO2 measurement to provide fast airway response. In addition, the mainstream setup places the sensor close to the breathing circuit, which helps reduce sampling delay. Therefore, supported Evita ventilators can display CO2 values and capnography waveforms during patient ventilation.
The Dräger CO2 Sensor 6871500 works with Evita 2 dura, Evita 4 edition, and Evita XL ventilators. A compatible adult or pediatric CO2 cuvette is required for operation.
