The Karl Storz IMAGE 1 HD H3 Camera Head 22220050 helps surgical teams capture high-definition endoscopic video when paired with a compatible Karl Storz IMAGE 1 HUB HD or IMAGE 1 Pure HD camera control unit. It uses a three-chip CCD HD sensor design, so it delivers 1920 x 1080 Full HD imaging in a 16:9 format.
In addition, the H3 camera head supports progressive scan imaging and a parafocal 2:1 optical zoom lens. As a result, clinicians can adjust magnification while maintaining focus, which helps support clear visualization during endoscopic procedures. The camera head also includes programmable head buttons, giving users direct access to selected camera functions from the sterile field.
The IMAGE 1 HD platform works with rigid or flexible endoscopes through compatible camera heads and displays the endoscopic image on a standard operating room video monitor. Therefore, this camera head works as part of a complete Karl Storz HD imaging chain that may include a compatible CCU, endoscope, light source, monitor, and documentation system.
