The Hamilton CAPNOSTAT 5 CO2 Sensor 282157 is a mainstream CO2 sensor for compatible Hamilton Medical ventilators. It features an angled connector and supports CO2 monitoring for volumetric capnography applications.
This sensor measures CO2 close to the patient airway when used with a compatible mainstream airway adapter. It helps display end-tidal CO2 values and capnogram waveforms on approved Hamilton ventilator systems. In addition, the CAPNOSTAT 5 supports accurate PetCO2 monitoring at respiratory rates up to 150 breaths per minute .
The 282157 angled connector version works with Hamilton ventilators that support CO2 monitoring. Depending on the ventilator setup, a communication board and compatible mainstream airway adapter may be required.
