Overview
The GE Datex-Ohmeda E-NMT Module is a plug-in neuromuscular transmission module for compatible GE modular patient monitoring systems. It helps anesthesia teams measure neuromuscular block during procedures that use neuromuscular blocking agents. The module provides quantitative, automatic measurements of muscle response after electrical stimulation. As a result, clinicians can monitor the level of block during anesthesia and recovery.
In addition, the E-NMT Module supports common stimulation modes. These include Train of Four , Single Twitch , Double Burst Stimulation , and 50 Hz tetanic stimulation . Therefore, the module helps support different phases of neuromuscular monitoring, from deep block assessment to recovery evaluation.
