The Fluke MFH-1 Mechanical Fetal Heart Probe is a fetal monitor testing accessory used with the Fluke PS320 Fetal Simulator . It provides a mechanical interface for testing external ultrasound fetal monitoring transducers and electronic fetal monitors during biomedical service, preventive maintenance, and performance verification. The current Fluke Biomedical product page lists the MFH-1 Mechanical Fetal Heart Probe with part number 2651757 and compatibility with the PS320 Fetal Simulator .
The MFH-1 works with the PS320’s ultrasound simulation output to mimic the physical movement of a fetal heart. This allows technicians to place an ultrasound transducer against the probe’s simulation window and verify whether the transducer crystals respond correctly. The probe supports fetal monitor service workflows where technicians need to test external ultrasound-derived fetal heart rate detection rather than only direct electrical simulation.
The probe connects to the US 1 port on the PS320 using the supplied fetal heart cable. The fetal heart rate and rhythm come from the PS320 simulator settings, while the MFH-1 provides the mechanical output used by the ultrasound transducer. The PS320 must use its AC battery eliminator / power adapter when operating the MFH-1 because the mechanical fetal heart accessory does not function from battery power alone.
